Praise be to Allah, The Lord (The One and Only) of the Worlds, and blessings and peace be upon our Master Muhammad, the Truthful and the Faithful. According to an academic study that was discussed in a televised Islamic symposium, the religiously committed people, like the father, mother, uncle, teacher, university professor, the Imam (leader) of Masjid, and the remarkable Da'iyah (caller to Allah), have 40% effect on the student, while a deviated friend has 60% effect on him! Based on this fact, as a father you should know your son's friend, and as a mother, you should know your daughter's friend. How crucial the percents mentioned are! The influence of a friend on his fellow friend is 60%, whereas the religious people in this person's life presented by his father, mother, uncle, Imam, and teacher of religious education have a 40% influence on him. Therefore, there should be a believing environment other than the family to surround your child, such as a believing friend. I repeat what I have mentioned earlier, as a father you should be keen on whom your son befriends, and as a mother, you should be keen on whom your daughter befriends. Actually, the believing surrounding is indicated in the following Ayah:

{ (O, you who believe! Be afraid of Allah, and be with those who are true (in words and deeds).) }
